Musical Director Tyndale Thomas
Tyndale Thomas MBE has worked in the capacity of director for the Liverpool Harmonic Gospel Choir for over twenty years.
Tyndale creates and performs Gospel and inspirational music throughout the UK, Europe and America. A co-founding member of one of the first contemporary Gospel groups and choirs, The Challengers and The Merry Bell Gospel Choir, he wrote, produced and arranged material for numerous tours from 1982 to 1992.
He has supported and performed with nationally and internationally acclaimed artists such as Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Rick Wakeman and Gospel legends: Andrae Crouch, Richard Smallwood and Edwin Hawkins.
Tyndale is a prolific song writer and arranger and is regarded highly by music services both nationally and internationally. Over the past eight years choirs, Music and Arts organisations throughout the country have employed his experience and skills.
Further afield Tyndale is regularly invited to deliver workshops and direct mass choirs in Europe.
In June 2008, Tyndale was awarded an MBE from the Queen for his contribution in promoting Gospel and inspirational music - the first time this award has been given to a gospel artist.
